KitUP Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 19th September 2026
Welcome to KitUP! These Terms & Conditions explain how we do business with you when you use our website or place an order. Please read them carefully — by shopping with us, you're agreeing to these terms.
If you have any questions, you can always reach us at support@kitup.co.uk.
In these Terms, “you”, “the Buyer” and “the customer” all mean the person placing an order with us via kitup.co.uk.
1. General
- KitUP is owned and operated by KitUP Limited, registered in England and Wales, under Company Registration Number 13425561, with our registered office at 7 Western Road, Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, NP7 7AA.
- By placing an order, you agree to the following express Terms & Conditions of kitup.co.uk.
- We may update these terms from time to time — the version that applies will be the one in place when you place your order.
- These Terms, and the consumer rights referred to in them, apply where you're buying as a consumer (that is, for purposes outside your trade, business, craft or profession). If you're purchasing as a business, some consumer protections described here — such as the 14-day right to cancel — may not apply, and different terms may be agreed between us.
2. Products, Descriptions & Prices
- We do our best to make sure product descriptions and prices are accurate and up to date. All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
- All products are subject to availability. If an item is out of stock or the price changes, we'll let you know as soon as possible. You can then decide whether to continue or cancel your order.
- If we discover a genuine pricing error before your order is dispatched, we'll contact you to confirm whether you'd like to proceed at the correct price or cancel your order, with a full refund if you choose to cancel.
- If you cancel your order, we'll promptly refund you in full.
- Please make sure the item is suitable for your needs before ordering. We expect customers to verify the compatibility of products and applications before purchase.
3. Delivery & Shortages
- Goods purchased by credit or debit card can only be delivered to the cardholder's registered address.
- We deliver across the United Kingdom using trusted courier partners, including but not exclusively DHL Express, DHL Parcel UK, DPD, Parcelforce, TNT, UPS, FedEx and Royal Mail. For larger items (such as TVs), we primarily use Pallex and Palletforce.
- Delivery dates are our best estimates, provided in good faith, and aren't guaranteed. That said, we will deliver your order without undue delay and, in any event, within 30 days of your order being placed, unless we've agreed a different timeframe with you — in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- If we can't deliver within the agreed timeframe, you may cancel your order and receive a full refund.
- Please note we require a signature for all parcels upon delivery. If a delivery is attempted on the agreed date but the buyer is not available to receive delivery, a re-delivery charge may apply.
- Upon delivery, the customer should check their order and sign the delivery note. If anything is missing or damaged, this should be written on the delivery note. Please also let us know as soon as possible — and ideally within 3 days of delivery — so we can raise this promptly with our courier partners. This is a guideline to help us act quickly on your behalf; it doesn't affect your statutory right to reject faulty or damaged goods within the timeframes set out in the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (see “Faulty Products” below).
- If you haven't received your order within the expected timeframe, please contact us as soon as possible — ideally within 7 days of the expected delivery date — as couriers typically only investigate delivery disputes within that window. This doesn't affect your right to a redelivery or refund if goods you've paid for don't arrive.
- For all delivery related queries, please email us at support@kitup.co.uk.
4. Cancellations & Your Right to Change Your Mind
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, if you're buying as a consumer you have the following rights:
- All order cancellation requests must be confirmed by email to support@kitup.co.uk.
- Should the Buyer wish to cancel their order prior to dispatch, we will cancel without charge and refund the Buyer in full to the original payment method.
- The buyer has a right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving the goods.
- The buyer has a duty of care under the regulations and must take care of the goods in such a way that they can be re-sold again by KitUP. KitUP will claim reasonable compensation from the Buyer for any resulting loss in value for goods not kept in a reasonable condition.
- The Buyer must either return the goods or make them freely available at the original delivery address within 21 days of cancellation for collection on a working day.
- Unless faulty, the regulations do not apply to unsealed licensed software, digital downloads or personalised items.
- KitUP will refund the Buyer to the original payment method — including the standard delivery charge you paid — less any appropriate deductions (for example, for use of the goods beyond what's needed to check them, or return delivery costs where these apply). Refunds will be made within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods, or evidence that you've sent them back, whichever is earlier.
5. Warranty & Returns
These terms are in addition to, and don't affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If a product you've bought is faulty, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or price reduction — see “Faulty Products” below.
- Most products supplied by KitUP benefit from a 12-month manufacturer's warranty, unless stated otherwise. In some instances, warranty support may require the Buyer to deal with the manufacturer directly.
- If your item develops a fault within the warranty period or the Buyer has a complaint, the Buyer should promptly notify us via email at support@kitup.co.uk.
- All Returns must be authorised by our Customer Service team before being returned to us.
- After 14 days of purchase — once the statutory 14-day cancellation period described above has ended — any change-of-mind requests to return goods will be subject to a restocking fee of 25%, provided the goods are in “As New” condition, fully boxed and with all original contents and packaging included.
- Items returned as suspected faulty but found on inspection to have no fault may incur a handling fee. We'll let you know the estimated fee before proceeding; it's based on our reasonable costs, such as courier collection and testing charges.
- Returns will not be accepted for software items unless the goods are faulty or the shrink-wrap or seal is intact.
6. Faulty Products
- Within 30 days: If your item is faulty on arrival, you can request a full refund or replacement.
- After 30 days: If your item develops a fault, we'll work with you and the manufacturer to arrange a repair or replacement. If this doesn't resolve things, you may be entitled to a price reduction or to reject the goods for a refund.
- If goods are found not to be faulty after testing, a handling fee may apply, as described in “Warranty & Returns” above.

- Our responsibility to you is limited to the value of the goods you've purchased.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
